Happy New Year,
Upcoming Product Naming Update (Rolling Out Gradually)
Over the next few days, you may notice some product names updating across our site. This change will take effect gradually as we roll it out across collections, product pages, and search results.
This update is being made proactively to standardize our catalog and stay ahead of potential future compliance requirements. Below is a quick guide to the new naming so it’s easy to navigate.
Why the new AMP naming?
We’re transitioning to a pathway-based research naming system that avoids drug names and instead focuses on internal research classification.
| Previous (Current) | New (Rolling Out) |
|---|---|
| GLP-1SG | AMP-1P |
| GLP-2TZ | AMP-2P |
| GLP-3RT | AMP-3P |
What do the numbers mean?
The number refers to the pathway tier of the research compound:
- AMP-1P → Tier 1 (single-path incretin research)
- AMP-2P → Tier 2 (dual-path incretin research)
- AMP-3P → Tier 3 (triple-path incretin research)
What does the “P” stand for?
P = Pathway. It indicates the number of metabolic signaling pathways involved in the research classification.
- Same products
- Same formulations
- Same batches
- Same quality and testing standards
- Only the names are being updated.
All products remain listed under internal research identifiers and are supplied strictly for research use only.
Thanks for your continued support and understanding as we roll out this update across the site.
